🎧 Listen Now: Sidehustles.co.uk One-Minute Podcast: Outplayed Pro 2024 Review
Considering an upgrade to Outplayed Pro in 2024? Our review reveals it could be a game-changer for your matched betting success.
In the evolving landscape of matched betting, finding tools that offer a genuine edge is crucial. Outplayed, a frontrunner in the industry since 2014, has introduced its latest tier: Outplayed Pro. Aimed at serious matched bettors looking to surpass the £1,000 monthly earnings mark, this plan has sparked considerable interest since its launch in late 2023. But with its premium price tag, the burning question remains: is Outplayed Pro genuinely worth your money?
In this comprehensive review, we delve into the nitty-gritty of what Outplayed Pro offers, comparing it with its predecessors, Platinum and Diamond, to determine if this new tier can truly elevate your matching betting game. With the promise of exclusive tools like Extra Place Master, 2UP Master, and Price Boost private chat, Outplayed Pro suggests a pathway to not just meet but exceed your matched betting goals.
Let's explore whether it lives up to the hype and if it's the right investment for your betting strategy in 2024.
Outplayed is one of the more established and well-known match betting services in the UK, having been around since 2014. You can play for free with the Free Trial plan, but the earnings are limited. You also won’t be able to access other tools that could help increase your revenue. Outplayed Platinum and Diamond are premium memberships where you pay a monthly fee to access more features and earn extra cash.
In November 2023, the company released a new tier — the costliest among the plans. Outplayed Pro upgrades your experience by adding three new tools: Extra Place Master, 2UP Master, and Price Boost private chat. All these unique features promise earnings that go beyond £1,000 monthly. At £95 a month, this new plan does seem like a reasonable next step in your match betting journey.
Let’s take a look at the three features of Outplayed Pro and compare them to what you can get with the Platinum or Diamond plan. Here are the comparisons at a glance.
A 2UP is an offer where bookmakers pay you early if the team you bet on wins two consecutive goals. These are popular reload offers. However, it’s much harder to find 2UPs with just the Platinum or Diamond plan. You’ll need to set up filters to find matches with close odds. Then, you’ll have to wait and see if the bookmarker will actually release a 2UP offer. These bookies are usually Bet365 and Paddy Power.
For Outplayed Pro, you have a dedicated 2UP Master, a dashboard that predicts the chance of a 2UP coming up. You’ll know this with the Expected Value (EV)% and Full Turnaround (FTA)% columns. The former shows long-term value. On the other hand, FTA% shows the chance for a full turnaround — the possibility that the team you bet on will score two goals ahead of the opponent.
EV% is more important because it shows you the possible long-term profits, especially since the opponent could still make a comeback. Outplayed calculates these percentages with factors like home/away advantages, momentum effects, and scoreline data. However, the algorithm is still proprietary and can’t be replicated by just using filters — it’s a more sophisticated tool to help you find better matches.
For the uninitiated, an extra place is a matched betting offer specially tailored for races. The bookie will offer an extra place so that, aside from betting on a horse to win the race, you bet on them to finish at a given place. The Platinum and Diamond plans have an extra place catcher, allowing you to easily find the extra places offered.
Extra Place Masters on Outplayed Pro looks deceptively similar, showing EV% and EP Chance. Like the 2UP Masters, the EV% here shows the predicted long-term value you’ll earn. The EP Chance column, on the other hand, shows the chances of your horse landing in a specific place. Thanks to these calculations, you have a higher chance of profit if you use an extra place offer.
Like with the 2UP Masters, Extra Place Masters uses Outplayed’s proprietary algorithm. Having this in your arsenal helps you bet on more profitable horses and places.
Occasionally, bookies will offer price boosts, which have higher odds on a bet than a normal promo. These boosts last only a short while. Once people are aware of the boost, they will flock to it, leading the bookmaker to stop the offers. Matched bettors under the Platinum and Diamond plan have access to forums where they can get news about these price boosts. That’s how they’re able to immediately use the price boosts while others will be too late to enjoy the perks.
Outplayed Pro makes the information more exclusive by offering private group chat alerts for price boosts. Before offers get posted on the forums, you’ve already had first dibs. You can leverage the price boosts long before the bookie removes it.
As we mentioned above, Outplayed uses its own algorithms for the 2UP and Extra Place Masters. The software calculates chances based on various variables, but we’re not privy to the specifics since this is a proprietary program. Can we trust the algorithm though? Does it deliver the promise of earning £2,500 annually for Extra Place Master or £2,000 for the 2UP Master?
We haven’t gotten around to using the full extent of the algorithm for these features given how Outplayed Pro has only been around since the end of November. Based on around two months of use, we did see a higher profit margin than the Platinum or Diamond plans. The algorithm does seem to work. The biggest thing for us, really, is that these tools have dedicated use. You won’t need to set up filters or rely on sheer luck to increase your profits. There’s a lot less work and a lot more convenience.
Currently, Outplayed Pro costs £95 monthly or £995 annually.
The Platinum plan is £29.99 a month and £250 a year.
The next tier, Diamond, is available at £49.99 monthly or £450 annually.
Outplayed Pro is twice as expensive as Diamond, which may seem a lot at first. Thankfully, you can opt for a Pro plan that doesn’t include casino offers. This variation is only £65 a month or £745 yearly.
The biggest advantage of Outplayed Pro is how it streamlines processes that otherwise take a lot of effort to do. You won’t have to set filters to find 2UP offers — the 2UP Masters will do it for you. You won’t have to comb through the member forums for price boosts. With the private chat, you’ll get notified immediately. Now, you can earn more profits while decreasing your time matched betting.
The major disadvantage is the pricing. Of course, this rate is to be expected since Outplayed Pro is the highest membership plan — what you can do to offset the expense is to make full use of the tools and earn as high as you can for maximum ROI.
Aside from what’s already on the Platinum and Diamond plans, Outplayed Pro offers three advanced tools to increase your chances of higher profits. The £95 monthly payment is worth it, in our opinion, but only if you’re already an advanced and knowledgeable matched bettor. To maximise the profits, you should take advantage of the casino offers included in this plan. Otherwise, you’ll need to spend more effort to break even and start making a profit.
We don’t recommend beginners for this plan. Platinum is still the most cost-effective for novices since you can access most tools you need without having to pay a lot. You should only go for Diamond or Outplayed Pro once you have a stronger grasp of match betting. That way, you’ll know how to maximise all the premium features that made the plans costlier.
If you’re ready to up your matched betting game, Outplayed Pro is a great plan that lets you access three additional tools: 2UP Master, Extra Places Master, and a private chat for price boosts. These features make matched betting more effortless, but they come with a higher price tag. The expense is worth it, in our opinion, especially if you’re an expert who knows how to maximise all the offers and tools.
Before you go, remember that thriving in matched betting isn't just about leveraging the right tools like Outplayed Pro; it's also about navigating the challenges that come with account limitations.
